Grey skirt from h and m, help!

I recently bought a grey skirt from h and am which I adore, however I'm really not sure what to wear with it? I'm worried it will look like a school skirt.
Please help with ideas ill get a picture soon.

You could always play up the school skirt look by wearing a button up and a cute colorful tie. I dunno, I think it'd look cute (plus it'd be original)

What about dark blue? I bought a cute hollister top which is like a loose tank which is dark blue with a tiny green print. That with black tights maybe?
