Ok I guess children do imitate what they see. My 9 yr granddaughter asked me to use my makeup brushes for her kiddie makeup. I told her no. But then I got to thinking maybe if I got her a little cheap set? What do you guys think?

I think you should just get some mineral powder or something that isn't so bad. That is so cute though c:

I also think some elf 1 dollar brushes would be great and maby a light pink lip gloss and some light pink eye shadow. That's what I have my niece.

Definitely check out ELF's $1 brush line. She's 9, she doesn't need the expensive stuff just yet for playing with kiddie makeup.

I bought my daughter a little cheap brush set and she has her barbie makeup kit & as they imitate what they see, well she's a makeup artist in training! LOL.

I'm with the girls elf brushes. The sooner they get a feel for using brushes the easier it will b when they are older. If she's interested I think its great.

Thanks everyone. She was sho excited when I told her she was a topic on this site. I show her pics of the nail designs. She's already experimenting with nail art.

Aww. I think it's cute. I just bought dd kiddie makeup. She was so excited. I think some elf brushes would be fun for her. They have a very reasonable set that even has a fan brush.

Go for it, I have an 8 year old and I let her use my stuff under supervision, but have also gotten her some cheaper stuff to use on her own.

Buy some elf brushes or brushes from a tween store in the mall.

Yes you should. You never know what will happen when she grows up...maybe own a multi billion dollar makeup company!

Do it. She would love to play around with them. I gave me 3 year old a $1 elf brush for her play makeup. She loves it :)
