If you have a clean wand, you should brush through the lashes I separate them and then curl with the edge of the curler, and then brush through them again. You should use the Telescopic mascara by L'Oreal for sharper more thinner application.

And for the mascara she mentions in the video... I have them, and they're amazing! But the second one, mine is all gold... But it's the same exact one. So it depends on what your local drugstore sells.

They make eyelash curlers that only curl individual eyelashes. You could use those to curl the portions that don't do the parts that you want!

Eye lash curlers, then mascara. Don't try even it out just keep brushing on the eyelashes with the wand until it evens itself out.
Or use fake eyelashes, with a minimal amount of mascara.
