Did you girls know that the reason acne comes is because of the hormonal activity that is at play can cause oil on skin. Another causes is genetics.
The side effects of acne?
Embarrassment 〰issues with appearance 〰 depression
If you stress over pimples it gives you more pimples!
SWEET FOODS OR FATTY FOODS DOESN't GIVE YOU ACNE- or at least plays a non existent role.
DRINKING WATER WON't CURE ACNE- all it does is make you pee!
All this information is from Dr Philip Artemi

But if you drink tons of water, then you get gorgeous skin, and it does help to clear your skin.

I personally believe it exfoliates your skin and removes impurities but I thought that maybe my personal thoughts is wrong

I heard the same things from my dermatologist, though I never suffered under acne.

I have acne...I have used lots of creams and have done many treatments...but from my personal experience I have understood that all these creams don't really help...in fact they can make things worse...the only good therapy is to wash your face once a day (more times can make the skin dry) and eat healthy.I don't know if the big consuming of water helps the skin but I'm pretty sure it's good for the body generally.

Evelina, the best therapy is to was your face TWICE a day. I used to have really bad acne and I washed my face once a day and I used a whole bunch of treatments. But when I started twice a day that made a huge huge difference! I suggest using something like Clean and Clear or Clinique for a cleanser and then applying a spot treatment after. Hope this helped!

Fatty foods causes an excess amount if oil in your system and that normally ends up on your face and causes acne.

I've had this problem for 2yrs now and be4 my skin was clear. I tried all the treatment creams and cleaners and even tried prescribed antibiotics and it didnt help. I started using baremineral cleanser its has reduced it to some amount but it still comes back :( sarah your right about the dc thing

Sarah M.
Well I'm glad it reduced! You'll still get it occasionally. Just right now I'm sporting some red hot pimples (so embarrassing) but even though I'm doing all in my power to prevent them I still get them because its just a part of being a teenager!

I personally don't believe that eating certain foods can cause break outs unless you have some sort of allergy because otherwise I would have horrible acne. Although I do believe that water helps your skin. every time I don't drink at least one glass a water the next day my face is gets really puffy and itchy

Yep wash face 2 Times a day, clean your pillow ans sheets often (they can hold a lot of bacterias) and don't pick at your pimples. Always use moisturizer before applying makeup (to have a layer of protection between your skin and Makeup)... exfoliate once to twice a week, use a rehydrating mask (water based) once a week. Use sunscreen everyday if you have acne scarring otherwise it Will get worse. Those are my tricks to avoid acne, I've had acne since I was 15 and now I'm 21 and I only get hormonal acne 1 week before my period :)

Diet influences acne to some degree, especially dairy is bad for your skin. when it comes to skincare and makeup DON't use anything with silicones in them. oil on the other hand works surprisingly well!
