Hmm, I've heard that before too, but I haven't even tried a brighter pink lipstick! I usually use darker reds or plums. Recently I've been really tempted to buy, like, the nudey brown shades, but I haven't seen many pale people wear those.

Yeah I would suggest avoiding dark tans/brown nudes they can make you look older on pale skin and look more washed out- try using a concealer lightly over lips and a light pink or nude lip lightly - I know Mac angel is a very good shade to check into, flattering on so many skin tones- I have pretty fair skin and Kate moss matte lip stick in shade 113 is nude and not too dark- also nyx pale pink is a good light pinky nude that's good on fair complexions- &revlons colorstay gloss jn peach petal is a must have! its a gorgeous light nude pink and very versitile! And you should look into revlon's primrose - this isn't a nude but more like a Mauvy blue pink that is soooo gorgeous on pale skin tones!! It would seriously look so good on you!! :)

Maybelline color whisper in Shade 10, "Bare to be Bold". I have this and I have pale skin. I get compliments all the time.

No deff no problem! I had to hunt this down I saw it online and my local cvs didn't have any left for weeks so it must be pretty popular or they don't order it a lot- but I'm right there with you I think honestly this is the only cover girl thing I own, yeah it is but it was so pretty and cheap and bright I had to buy it! And no the swatches are no big deal seriously I just wish my bedroom lighting was better or my iPhone would take better pictures cause I feel like its a lot prettier in person!

Don't you think the nude candy is a total dupe of nars Turkish delight?! To me it is slightly more pink but its soo similar and doesn't smell like plastic like theirs do.. I love most everything essence even though I don't have much of their stuff. But they're shadows are really pigmented!

Haha yeah I am really fair naturally I just fake bake to all hell- I use a gradual tanner daily and I live in Florida so I can tan all year round- but in person I'm not that tan- ESP these past 8 months with being pregnant it's pretty hard to tan now- though I have a spray tanning gun at home that I make my boyfriend spray me down ESP since I can just barely reach my feet so using the self tanning lotion has become quite the challenge lol I just love to tan, and I think it's because I hate being pale I just look really washed out since I have blonde hair or maybe I just feel that way? Idk lol but I know a lot of tips to making myself darker and looking tan even if I'm not, hehe!! ;)

I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and am quite pale and I loooooooooooooove YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in 2 Sensual Silk :)
