Can you get gel French tips? Cuz I kinda wanna try gel nail polish, and also I'm afraid to get acrylics because I have really strong nice nails and don't wanna mess them up..

Arcylics can definitely be hard on nails! I've gotten gel French tips a few times, not every place does them. But gel isn't as harsh. If your nails are naturally strong and nice I don't see why you'd need gel though!

I doubt one application will weaken your nails. They are said to do so over time though! My nails break really easily so I use shellac to lengthen them and then stick with regular polish so they can breath lol. If I had already solid nails I wouldn't risk it!

As a CND qualified applicator I'm not sure as to how you use shellac to extend your nails on its own as its a gel overlay.

I think she means using the shellac to strengthen her nails so they won't break, that way they grow longer. I do the same thing.
