Smashbox primer is really good and so is tarte they fill in lines,pores, and wrinkles and create a nice base to work with plus keeps your foundation last all day:)

The Monistat chafing gel works as a primer & has been compared to Smashbox primer. It's inexpensive & works just as great!

Make sure you get the right one for your skin type.It helps with a clean Surface for your foundation and helps last longer.It's not meant to make your skin flawless that's what foundation is for.I always have to types of primers for my skin because weather becomes an issue for skin sometimes.
