I say go for it! I am very pale and I have been dyeing my hair blonde for years! If you aren't sure on the shades just talk to your hairdresser when you have your appointment. He or she can recommend what would be best for your skin tone. Staring out with high lights might even be a less dramatic way to see if you would like being blonde(:

I think that colour suits your skin tone really well and not sure blonde would work, it could was you out and make you look pale. If you really want to go blonde though I would say start with highlights of a caramel blonde or light brown and see how you like it and then add more or color all your hair if you I think it looks good then it's more gradual also.  ;-)

IDE do thick blond highlights all over and it will give a good contrast:) go for it!
