For product I use frizz eaze smoothing cream and argan oil. I tried drying with a round brush but I'm not very good at that, had to go over it with a straightener. I want the ends to be just barely curled under.

Ok.
So use a cream gel or a mousse and apply it in your hair when it is damp. Twist your hair into 2 or 3 little buns (depending on how textured you want it) and allow to dry. You could also use a blowdrier for time's sake. Secure the buns with either clips or pins, not hair ties. (They will leave kinks). When your hair is dry, take out the buns and apply smoothing serum for frizz control or salt spray for added texture.

Get a good thickening spray (Bumble&Bumble and Aveda have gooood ones), apply it to the areas you'd like volume, and use a round brush to blow dry! That's what I do, sweets!:) You could always backcomb but I'd never recommend that, personally, only cause you have to be careful not to damage your hair doing so, and I have never teased my hair much so I wouldn't want to try and recommend it, as if I know what I'm talking about, ha. Good luck!!:)
