Hey, so yesterday I ask about longer a thicker hair and you gave some really good feedback and a few of you said regular trims to get rid of spilt ends but wouldn't my hair stay the same length then? And I got my hair cut 5 days ago and I still have loads of split ends! Realistically I'd have to shave my hair off to get rid of all my split ends! Any advice other than a trim?

If you take good care of the hair the amount that'll be trimed of is minimal, but the key to long thick hair is good maintenance and that includes regular trims.

I do take good care of my hair, could it be my diet that's making it like this @Crapzor

@Grace Diet can only affect the new hair that comes out. Hair is dead material, it's proteins. If you colour/bleach your hair you should probably stop, if you flat iron or curl it with a wand it's preferable if you keep it at a minimum.. If your hair is dry you should use some sort of nourishing conditioner, but keep in mind that if the conditioner has silicone in it it'll only give the illusion of healthier hair, it won't actually be healthy...

Coconut Oil is amazing for your hair. You get it warm so it melts and then massage it into your ends. You can also massage it into your hair for growth. There's also a product called salon graffix healthy hair conditioner. I used to have very dry hair and get awful split ends. I started using that and got a trim two months later, I had so few split ends my hairdresser only charged me $2.
