I have a big problem with my hair! They're long and bleached twice (last year) and now they are kind of a middle brown but they have some black spots (from my black brown hair dye I used to use) and a reddish tint which I don't like because it doesn't go well with my skin tone and looks dull.
I would like to tone it with an ashy toner but the thing is that no matter what color the dye is, my hair goes black. Jet black. And then I cry. So what should I do to get rid of the reddish tint without getting black/darker hair again? I'm thinking about going light ash brown this summer.

A bleach wash will just reveal more red/ orange tones, in your case I say go to a professional! you will probably have to go a little darker to cover the red!
