Does anyone know why my foundation turns orangy on me? I use the lightest shade ivory and later in the day it turns orangy I don't apply any primer or anything. I love the coverage on it, but if anyone has any other drug store recommendations that won't turn me
Orange please!?

Hi Crystal,
It could be that your foundation is oxidizing if you are in the sun or under fluorescent lighting.

Do you set it with powder? It's probably because your foundation is oxidizing throughout the day.

Is there anyway I can fix that??
And yes I do set it with a powder.

Oils just change the color of foundation throughout the day...is say try using a primer and some powder.

Hmmm, I have yet to have that problem, possibly due to the fact I am tan...but still, I'm suprised that happened. I use primer myself (nyc has one for $4 that won an award from Allure magazine) but perhaps you should check out neutrogena's line of foundations for oily skin? I love the colorstay's coverage too! I'm finally not shiney anymore either! Makeup geek said it was a great dup for forever hd's velvet foundation version.
