Go for it.. Try more of a heavy highlight first and if you like it you can always add more for a full ombre.

I also dislike ombre in general but it would look okay on you! I personally like highlights or all over color.

First of all let me tell you something, your hair is beautiful just as it is now!
Of course, trying something new is always a good thing. Me myself love to try new things, but I usually end up going back to natural. At the moment I have ombré, caused by the sun+camomile tea..all natural:)
I really do think it would look pretty on you, just be sure that you don't damage your hair too much and take good care of it!
