I've been trying to grow my hair out for about a year and a half now and I've only made little progress. I've been getting trims and have stayed away from dying and straightening it. Are there any other ways I can grow my hair out??

Just take really good care of it :) don't use much heat cause that destroys it and causes split ends, and split ends are dead hair and your hair will never grow! Leave conditioner in your hair over night at least once a week and wash it out to next morning :))

I have really long hair and the thing that worked for me is just not cutting it for two years! I was broke and couldn't afford to and now it's to my waste.

A healthy diet, drinking lots of water will help a lot and won't cost you anything.

Get it trimmed only an inch (or less) every 6 months. not trimming it regularly causes more split and broken ends to go even further up your hair. ask your doctor if you can take a biotin vitamin (good for hair, skin, and nails) and go completely heatless! no blow drying or ironing of any kind. check out the new garnier fructis argan oil, its amazing!

Brush your hair with a wide tooth comb not a brush it helps I swear.

Castor oil! It's helped my last horrific haircut dramatically. And this is coming from a girl who's hair grew an entire inch in a 4 year span because of horrible genetics. Now it's quick :)
