My hairdresser said that's bull. My only suggestion is to wash your hair less. Every other day is better cause you're damaging your hair less so less will break off and it'll break slower.

Nothing is going to make your hair grow faster except maybe making sure you get enough vitamins in the day. You can prevent breakage which can make it seem like your hair isn't growing. Don't use heat styling on your ends. Oil your hair regularly. Invest in a good conditioner.

You can take DHT blockers too (or American birth control - some European ones add back testosterone)... But, seriously, El O is right on, conditioning & stuff so you don't have to trim split ends too often is helpful; patience is probably even more important.

Try giving up heat for like a month and just put heat protection oil in it and some leave in conditioner spray it really helpsy hair get healthy and it grows faster I also use a deep conditioner in the shower.
