Well its always said "stay away from heat tools" and we all know we can't :p soooo to just atleast make it somewhat "better" to use heat you should use a heat protecting spray, garnier fructis style "sleek & shine flat iron protector", and or a leave in conditioner such as garnier fructis leave in conditioning cream. As for growth, Mane n Tail shampoo should work and they also have a heat protecting spray with olive oil in it its "Mane n Tail spray therapy shine/detangling/heat protection. :) good luck & vitamins won't hurt either also adding oils such as coconut and argan oils, (organix has some good oils which you can find in any drugstore I find it in cvs and walmart)

Oh IMPORTANT***when your hair is wet or straight of the shower stay away from using brushes to brush your hair, use a COMB I cannot stress this enough*** :D the reason for it is that I heard that brushing wet hair worsens ends and pulls and tugs breaking the ends :o so yes its a good idea to invest in a good comb :)

Sorry but None of this stuff everyone has recommended works... Unfortunately Hair grows 1/2 inch -1 inch give or take depending on your body a month... That's it. Sorry! All of these products are useless. Basically what I will recommend is get your hair in good condition, then it won't break off as quickly (which is what's probably happening- it's breaking off (more so because it's dry) before you can notice the growth. So conditioning treatments are a must, and stay away from hot tools and hot water too ( make sure you always do your last rinse with cold water to close the cuticle), Use organic coconut oil as a hair masque and trim it once a month. You can take biotin if you want but it probably won't give you noticeable results. Just wanted to give you the info I learned in school so you don't waste your time or $$ trying products. Hope this helps! Xo.
