I need an easy way to do my nails without taking an hour (without water marbling or tips). What are your favorite techniques?? My colors are mostly purples, pinks, and a few reds, but I have other colors too.

Ombré is really easy. You just need a makeup sponge and a few shades of the same color. And it looks really impressive.

So you would do one color and sponge on the next a little farther down, and so on, right?

Say you're doing pink. You paint your whole nail the lightest shade, then paint the next shade on the sponge and sponge 2/3 of the way down and so on. Just make sure you have q tips to clean up the edges.

Polka dots using a toothpick or bobby pin, or colorful french tip would be quick too. You can do ombre-effect polka dots!
