So here's the tip: I saw this on Pinterest and I now do it myself and it works! Every night after you take your makeup off, gently rub a little Vaseline into the roots of your eyelashes. This makes them stronger and less likely to fall out, and also encourages growth!

Actually, it causes cysts, eye infections, and blocks air from penetrating the surface of your skin.

I've heard that from a lot of places. Like my eye doctor, for one. Plus a lot of people on here have said the same thing, and I've googled it a few times to check.

And I'm not trying to be mean, or a bitch, or prove you wrong. I'm simply saying that if there was even the slightest chance that putting vaseline on my eyes could cause problems like that, I wouldn't do it. That's just me, and I'm just trying to keep everyone informed on what I've heard.

And no need to apologize, Chrissy! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone can do whatever they want to their own face. Just trying to help, girly.

I've been doing it for quite a while as well. I use a bit on my eyelashes and take an old washed mascara brush to distribute it. I also do the same for my eyebrows. Both my eyelashes and brows have gotten thicker and healthier.

As much as I would want my eyelashes to grow I'm too much of a wuss to actually put anything on or near my eyes unless its lotion form y face after taking off my makeup. But hey if this works for other people thats awesome! :) I prefer to stick with the falsies :) lol.

I've used Vaseline for a while and have had no problems. I just put a small layer on them so it won't irritate my eyes :)
