When you apply your condition mainly apply to your ends and little to none to your roots. Also use a leave in conditioner only on your ends when you get out the shower. When you feel your roots are getting oily use some baby powder, works better than dry shampoo and its cheaper. Hope that helps :)

You could be overwashing your hair and so when you strip the oils it tries to replace it. also try to brush your hair frequently to distribute the oil. I don't know. hope this helps!

The dry ends might be from overusing heat tools, get a trim at the ends then use a good conditioner like Tresemme or Aussie everytime you shampoo to maintain the smooth hair.

To take care of the oily roots, try dry shampoo. If you don't want to buy one, try cornstarch or baby powder. :)

Only put shampoo at the roots and don't put conditioner there. then use other leave in treatment at the roots. I use olive oil, coconut oil, or argan oil.

I agree with ruby k. That's what I started doing and I've noticed a huge difference. Also I shower every day I shampoo every second day, but condition my ends every day.

I have the same problem. But I think that the baby powder smells so weird :/
