At the time I wrote my comment I did not ,know she was your friend because when I wrote the comment I did not see yours till after I posted it. so I was not judging you because I have no right to in the first place. If you do think it looks awful, perhaps it would be best if you don't speak on this talk, or maybe you could suggest ways to improve rather than being so blunt and rude. (Not so much about Jay)
