1. Don't go for the 'wear all you can put on your face look.' Makeup is meant to look semi natural and wearing thick black eyeliner all the way around will only enhance your inner raccoon
2. Don't fry your hair every day. I know you may hate your hair, but you will hate it so much more when it looks like straw. Try braids and overnight styles.
3. Don't wear revealing clothing every day. I know you'll want your day to strut your stuff but keep in in moderation. You could be the sweetest girl in school and still get called names and talked about because of this one problem.
4. Keep it cool. Don't freak out about little things. It's ok if she's dating him but you like him to or all that other drama. I know it's hard, but you will benefit personally and socially by not caring.
5. Lastly, be outgoing. Try sports and groups and make new friends. Don't bother the upperclassmen too much, but try to give yourself a good image. Have fun and make memories!
