I think it can look cute in the summer with a tan. I also like having it to use as a base coat for nail art, or to wear under bright colours to really make them pop!

i like using it just for an accent nail or for a base for nail art/stamping like lauren said. i never really do a full mani with white though because it's so hard to get even coats & have it look nice. (might just be my nails, i have weird ridges)

I love plain white nails, I have them right now. I use Essie's Blanc. It's really opaque and nice. It looks streaky with just one coat but once you put a second one on it looks awesome

Try OPI's Alpine Snow. It's a great opaque white. It's as white as white gets. I think you'll like it.

I think white polish looks better on darker skin tones. Even though I have pale skin I still sometimes wear it.

It looks good on tanner skin but if your pale it tends to make you look paler in my opinion. Think of it as comparing yourself to white when you wear it

* * * I can say I use it in almost every manicure or pedicure...let me explain:
> Under every polish it provides a great base, the most neutral I have found, allowing any color that is painted over it to be as vibrant as the color you see in the bottle.

I personally really like just an all white nail polish on my nails from time to time.. Makes me look perhaps just a bit tan, because I am so pale. I can't attach a photo here now, but this link http://www.beautylish.com/f/axvpar/energy-source is for one of my swatches of the L.A color craze nail polishes, and that one is a flat out white one, called "energy source". It's okay, quite pigmented (can look like white out). The only problem I have is that it's hard to work with : ( If you don't layer with a light hand, with the exact amount of nail polish you need, it will look streaky. Man, I do wish I could afford OPI and China glaze.. hahaha

white nail polish is a MUST in your nail polish collection. to recreate almost 50% of the looks that you've seen out there, most consist of white nail polish as a base or accent.
i reccomend any white nail polish by chinaglaze, essie, or opi. ;*
