I want my hair to start getting healthy, and the only way I know how too is cutting off from everything.
Dreadlocks are beautiful when maintained and taken care off, but what do you think on me?
I would have extension hair locked into it to make the dreads long.
I'm new to it all.
Would it look good on me? and how would I go about achiving this style?

Definitely do it, me and my sister undreaded our brothers gfs hair, it took days and we had to cut a lot off but before they looked great. They'd look good on you :)

I REALLY wouldn't suggest it. I realize this is superficial but it will make people look at you in a totally different way, and not much of it will be positive. Employers won't take you seriously, many people will look at you negatively... I'm all for changing things up, but dreadlocks isn't the way to go :/

Plus if you want your hair to be healthy, I don't think making it a knotted, tangly mess is the way to go.

I think it would look super beautiful! I would take the picture to a salon that does dreads (a lot of them do now) and see what they would recommend.

Honestly, in my opinion dreadlocks are probably the most unattractive hairstyle ever created. Not to mention they usually ruin your hair and a lot of people lack personal hygiene while trying to achieve them. So yeah, I don't recommend them for anyone.

Dreads would look good on you, but an idea would be to do just one or two. They look cute, especially in a ponytail, and you aren't completely committing to anything.

I honestly think they would look gorgeous on you. I love dreads I just wouldnt have the guts to get it done ha. I'd say as long as your a 100% sure and your willing to take care of them then go for it. :)

You should research to why wearing dreadlocks is considered cultural appropriation. It's always nice to read up on sacred traditions to cultures we want to emulate.
