Drinks lot of water, eay healthy, and don't bite your nails, also putting hand lotion helps :)

^^ agreed! And if you have a habit of biting them, what helps me is painting them...and since I don't want to ruin the polish I leave my nails alone an they grow!

That's what I've been doing and its worked. I was bite free for about 5 months and slipped up.
