I usually just leave it but if you can't stand it then there is no harm in trying a fake nail but you will probably need to paint then to disguise it.

I'm a nail technician and I'd recommend going and asking for just a weekend nail on the one that's broken and then getting shellac over them all our any gel polish, the gel polish keeps the nail stronger without using an acrylic nail which may damage your own, you could do this until the nail has grown up, then a long as the gel polish is removed properly then your nailss should still be perfect and healthy underneath.

Sorry I didn't answer back Jennifer. I usually am good about checking on posts just been going thru ALOT lately. I think you can never go wrong with a red or pink. I just go with whatever color makes me happy to look at right at the time.
