I've been watching those Bantu buns tutorials but I was wondering if I'll get nice wavy hair even though my hair is curly? Oh and how wet should my hair be when I put them in the buns?

Yes it works on curli hair and you should do them on damp hair so they'll last longer. Just use an oil or serum to seal them am they won't frizz up.

Ya you need bobby pins though it is a little harder then if were straight.

Yes they work lovely for curly hair! When my hair used to be curly & I'd do them I'd get the perfect voluminous waves.

I did Bantu knots on my hair when it was straight and I got really nice waves.

Didn't know it until now, but apparently I've been doing Bantu buns for years! haha, I too have curly/wavy hair (depending on what mood it's in...)

You can do them on damp hair or dry hair. I did them dry on my girlfriends hair and it came out nice.
