Hey girls,
I do use powder to set my foundation but I always get an overly powdery look on certain parts of my face. I don't cake it on by any means, but I have a question about Fix +. I know you can use it for many different things, but I've heard that if you spray some on your face after you put on foundation & powder, it helps reduce the powdery look. I do have oily skin (not overly oily, but on my chin and around my nose) and I have to use a blotting sheet probably once or twice a day. Would Fix + make me look even more oily? I just don't want to spend $21 on something that is going to make me look worse.

It definitely does reduce the cakes look but I have oily skin as well and I don't think it makes me look more oily, I use it every day :) xx

Try translucent HD powder, elf has a really good one or if you don't like drugstore products then nars has one but they both work the same.

I suggest urban decay deslick rather than fix+. Fix+ leaves a dewy finish and will just make you more oily through out the day.

Does Deslick reduce the look of powder as well?

I need something that's going to reduce the powdery look rather than setting my makeup, if that makes sense.

Yep, it does reduce the powdery look. If you go into sephora, you can spray some of the sample spray that try leave on display. Test it out for a couple of hours then go back to the store and purchase it if it works for you. I can guarantee you it works well though :)

Great info Jackie glad you pointed that out and may I add that if you have oily areas you would also need to use an oil free foundation for that area like your chin and nose that you had mention and I would stay away from blotting sheets since they press back the oils to your skin trapping the dirt,oil,ect..
