Help! Outfit for performing in a concert.

I am in band and I don't know if I should go with a dress or with a nice pants and shirt for the concert. I play tenor saxophone for it and I sit in the front of the stage. Also have a solo.
Need ideas!

At our concerts girls normally we wear a white top and blank pants or a skirt also some girls wear a simple black dress.

Pants so you don't have to worry about flashing the audience in a skirt. Keep it simple as you don't want your clothes to become the focus. Black pants and a button down white shirt that is nipped so it isn't boxy.

I think pants because if you're wearing dress, the audience might catch a glimpse of your lady bits.
