My hair is curly but I get quite flat hair on the root. Backcombing makes it frizzy and I have long layers and can't have any shorter as it goes crazy haha does anyone have any products or tricks to get my hair volume at the root and I've tried root boost powder I like it but its make my hair stiff with it. Thanks :)

It's just natural my curly hair does it too. Try a mousse it could help.

I know it's a pain haha and I use it sometimes but I don't like the crispy effect it gives on my hair mousse

Just keeping trying different ways. Also you shouldn't use more than a golf ball of mousse. I used barely any.
