My legs have scars! I feel so insecure about them... =( I don't wear shorts, skirts etc. Who else feels like they can't wear what they want because of insecurities about legs? Did you get over it? If so, can you share some light? Thank you!! <3.

I don't like my legs either but if I wear something exposing my legs usually ill put bronzing lotion on my legs it hides a lot of scars and stuff like that.

Me too!! I fell on my legs and scrape them up a few years ago, and I have scars. Also on my arms from working at a farm.

Ough I hate my legs. I feel like they're so fat. But you just have to be comfortable in the skin you're in! It made me feel really good the other day when my friend randomly told me she thought I had really nice legs and it made my day 😊

I also have scars on my legs some from childhood and others from just being clumsy, but many people do too. I have a really big scar going down my back that I got three years ago, I'm barely starting to get comfortable with it. but its something that's apart of me. I just call them battle scars because every scar gas its own story, whether its big or small.

I have tons of scars on my leg from when I was a baby and they use to be really dark purple almost black! I hated it but I grew use to it over the years and they have gotten lighter. I feel better when I have a tan but I just never have the time to... anyway I wouldn't worry about you legs, no ones really is starring at legs anyway

Kalie, embrace them. the scar I have on my back is from surgery. of course you think they're ugly but you'll find that others do not. your scars have their own story behind them just as mine does. honestly they're a apart of us now. it might take a while for you to feel comfortable about your scars but with time and some courage to show them you will begin to feel comfortable about having them.

I'm not really complaining about this, but I hate people calling me short. Like, in know I'm short but thanks for pointing it out to me

I have a scar on both of my knees well 2 on each knee 3 look like brown spots but the one is big and there's like a ring around it but I don't really think about it being bad it's just there it's part if my life and people never really look at it and it's not that big so I don't care about it but I would say just be confident you are who you are and you can't change nothing about it :) ps I got the scar bc a boy tripped me in kickball.

I have scars going up and down my legs from a struggle with self harm I battled from ages 14-17. I've embraced them and I love my body as much as ever. Like Jay M said, my scars just mean I'm stronger than what tried to hurt me, why be ashamed? :)

I have stretch marks from my hips down to my toes. due to kidney failure. (the kidneys are in charge of getting rid of excess fluids from the body which we know as pee) since My kidneys failed on me, I was retaining all that fluid which caused my body to get huge. I went from 110 lbs to 160 lbs and have my hundreds of battle scars due to that. :(

I have scars from last year when I got bit up by a ton of bugs and I didnt like the scars (and no one really wants to hear a story staring out as "yeah I fell in a hole and got bit by ants") I wear jeans and if I'm wearing a skirt or a dress I wear leggings but if I don't I use concealer to cover it up or some days I'm like "WHOO-HOO LOOK AT MY ANT SCARS!" and hey could be worse, you could have a scar on your stomach (and leg) from dropping boiling hot ramen noodels on you *awkward laugh*

I've had horrible leg scars since I was 6. I never wore skirts shorts or dresses in public until I was 17. I have tried everything from bleaching creams to lemon juice to cocoa butter, but nothing has worked. If you have the money, there is laser scar removal. However, I've learned to embrace my scars because they make me who I am and everyone has their flaws.

Kalie you have to learn to love it. I too have a scar in the middle of my chest from surgery. I'm almost 24 & now just getting comfortable with it. Of course I still find it ugly & hate it but you have to learn to accept it. It's a part of you & for me, without it I wouldn't be here. Like someone said, you'll find someone who sees the beauty in them. But to everyone else who may have simple scratches, scars or anything like that, try shea butter or vitamin e. They're good for helping fade marks. They're simple flaws that everyone has that aren't that serious. If someone has something to say about your scars when you wear something that shows them off, oh well fu*k them.

I find scars seem most noticeable to the person who owns them. I was in a bad car wreck 6 years ago. I went through a fibre top roof and chewed up the skin on my back as well as break my neck. I was put in halo traction resulting in scaring on my face. Because of the scars on my back, it took me nearly three years before I'd wear a bathing suit, and it took me 5 before I'd go anywhere with out makeup. Too me they are really noticeable, but when ever I ask someone how bad they look they always have to get really close up too even see them. Don't worry about them. No one will notice scars on your legs, especially if you walk around with confidence. I'm learning to love my body scars and all. Give yourself a little love too :)

I'm insecure about my legs because they're like chicken legs. It's just important to remember that everyone has insecurities and no one is perfect. Try a self tanner to make the scars less noticeable.
