My hair does that too and I can't do anything about it.

My friend with super long thick hair braids her hair before she sleeps. That way it doesn't get frizzy and it stays complacent when she wakes up. It does become a bit wavy, but with a little straightening, it's fine. She pins the braids to the side of her head so that way there aren't kinks from sleeping on the, when she pulls them out of the braids. Maybe you ladies can give that a try? I hope it works out for you!

You have a lot of hair! How about getting it layered? And use shampoo/conditioner and products for gaining more control. Also put it in a bun, or braids like Saffron suggested. Although I imagine braids might leave it a little frizzy when you've brushed them out.

Try washing it and braid hair while its wet then in the morning it shouldn't get like that you will just have waves.
