First time trying the cut crease trend. How does it look? Comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ðŸ˜Š

Thanks Sandra! Yeah the corners look funky I guess I have to look up more tutorials lol. And the green is actually a neon yellow from Sleek Makeup's Acid Palette. The blue is Sugarpill's Velocity.

For a cut crease I don't think you need to use a transitional colour between the green and black as suggested, but I'd suggest making the line between the 2 a little cleaner so that it looks like its definitely meant to be a harsh line. Try using a thin line of liquid or gel liner along the bottom edge of the black and making the green super bold right up to that line by using something like the NYX jumbo pencil in milk underneath it. The black could do with a bit more blending. I think instead of a matte green with shimmer on the brow bone, a shimmery green on the lid with a matte highlight colour on the brow bone would be much nicer. Extend the black a bit further at the ends so that it wings out more instead of just stopping and I agree that tidying your brows up a little bit would be better with this kind of look, but they're not awful at all and if this isn't a look you do to go out in then I wouldn't worry. Ooh make sure to use some mascara or liner to cover up any makeup that gets onto the base of your lashes too. I know it sounds like I've made a lot of points lol but they're all just little things that will add up to make a big difference - you didn't do a bad job at all :)

Hi ms Marlene! I'm totally in love with this. The colors are so vibrant!
There are a couple of things you can do to make this a perfect cut crease in my opinion. I absolutely agree with Kim.
A cut crease is meant to have a harsh line. So don't let no one tell you any different.
I think you could've extended or winged the black shadow out more and that would've been fabulous. If you bring the black eye shadow into your inner corner don't blend too much. Try to go along with your eye shape.
The green/yellow is a really nice color. You could have added a base like Kim said to make the yellow blend equally.
I have nothing to say about the blue. It's perfect. I give you props home girl.
Only thing I will say that the shimmery highlight does throw it off. I don't like it at all. Go with something matte.
Look this is how I do it.
If I have shimmer on my lid then I use a little bit shimmer on my brow bone, if I don't then I go all matte.
You did perfect for your first try honestly. I wished my first try was as great.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I actually did use a white base before applying the neon. I guess I need to take more time doing that. Thanks again girls! ðŸ˜Š
