Right now I have ombre highlights, but I wanna color my hair and go red. how will coloring work since my winds are lighter? will I have to go back to my natural color first them dye it?

Probably not you might be able to cover them with something then try to dye it.

You're dealing with two of the hardest thing to deal with when it comes to hair... Ombré and red. Ombré is crazy hard to get out and red is really hard to take care of. If you want to go light or intense red, you'd have to have your hair all one color first, otherwise it would be uneven. However if you did a very dark red it would be more even. The darker you got the more even it will be.

Thanks :) I figured it would be best for it to be all one color. I plan on going darker, more like an auburn probably, but I want the red to be noticeable.
