Question About Bb Cream?!!

Hi girls
I want to know more about bb cream, what is it exactly? is like a foundation or what?
I also want to know how to apply it? with spong or brush or just simply by fingers?
I got one free sample of bb cream from the face shop, so I just apply it as a foundation , and I totally love it.
It gives you the perfect coverage, and a perfect tone complection, so I'm intend to buy one.
Please can I get some answers for my questins?

Hi! It's a day cream and foundation in one. It's more a natural base and didnt cover as much as normal foundation but its perfect for those who has good skin or just want a little something something. You should always use a brush because if you use your fingers it won't get spread out equally over your face plus you can get spots if there is any bakteria. So wash your brush with strong soap once every second week or once a month. Depending on how much you use it:)

It's an all in one cream that is supposed to replace your serum, moisturizer, sunscr33n, primer, and foundation. Most American bb creams are nothing more than tinted moisturizer usually with sheer to little coverage. asian bb creams have lighter coverage than most foundations but usually have more coverage than tinted moisturizers (depending on the brand). Asian bb creams claim to have good ingredients for your skin. they typically claim to be anti aging.
if you need more coverage you can always add concealer after you bb cream. you can even mix your foundation with bb cream if you want a bit more coverage.

I bought one from dr jart and I really like it :) I like the high spf (45) and the coverage is so much better than I expected. I wear it on days I want lighter coverage and set it with a translucent powder (I recommend doing this for those with oily or oily to combo skin). and when I want a bit more coverage and staying power, I add a tiny bit of foundation after I've applied the bb cream. works great as a primer and you only need one pump for your whole face. I use my fingers to lightly pat my whole face with it. bb cream allows your skin to shine through. it looks like your skin but better ^_^

One negative side is that they don't have many shades. they run from one universal shade to several more but usually they unfortunately cater to light to medium/tan skin

ya thats what I like about, it have a light coverage
as my skin is good, I don't need much coverage, I just need to enhance it to look perfect, so the bb cream did this job perfectly.
hmmm may I ask which brush do you use for the foundation and bb cream?

the bb cream that I have tried is from the face shop which is Korean.
to me, it covers perfectly, as I don't need much coverage.
In fact, I don't put any foundation or concealer most of the time, I just put them on when I have a special occasion. Most of the time I just put some eyeliner and natural color lipstick because I don't like to look so much over, beside, my skin is good overall, so I don't need to put something on.
and for the shades, the one I used was exactly matching my skin, so I decided to by the same shade.
I found many shades, and I couldn't decide which one to match my skin, so the seller person recommend that shade, and when I tried it out, it was amazing.
It gave me that look of a perfect though natural skin, like I'm not wearing anything on my skin.
