I have my hair jet black and I use revlon cuz its cheap and good ha ha... Have in mind that once you dye it black its going to be hard to change colors, well at least for me it is, I have tried dying it a brown color many many times and it won't get it I waited 1 and a half year to dye it again so the color would pick up and nothing, and I really don't want to bleach it so I just ended up dying it black again cuz my hair was looking nasty =\

I used to use Revlon when I had black hair. It always left my hair really soft and shiny and it was super cheap. I know "boxed dyes" are bad, but I only had good experiences with it.
