Right after I shower, I put my hair in a loose braid IMMEDIATELY. It retains hydration. :) It also prevents breakage. Leave your hair in a braid for 10-15 minutes, don't worry it won't get wavy. After that, take it out and come from TIP to ROOT. As in comb just the ends that work your way up :) use a leave in conditioner for help. :)

You should invest in a wet brush. I got mine for $7 on eBay and you can brush your hair when wet. I love mine, and my hair doesn't break anymore!! It's grown a ton since I've started using it.

When your washing your hair, you should make sure that your not scrubbing your scalp with your nails because that damages your hair follicles which is what makes hair weak and break or fallout. Hair is always at its most delicate state when it's wet so when you scrub your scalp, just use the tips of your fingers. You can also use a wide tooth comb. Using hair products with biotin and keratin in it will help as well :)

Don't comb hair at alllll... wet hair tends to break more...

You naturally lose hair. Especially after you wash it. It's just the hair restarting the growth cycle. And there is nothing wrong with scrubbing your scalp as long as you aren't pulling on the hair.
