What's the difference between a curling iron and a curling wand? And which would you recommend?

Curling wand has a smaller barrel and no clip. I prefer the wand but everyone's different.

The difference is the wand has no clamp and the curling iron does.

A curling iron can look as good if you don't use the clip. Because of the pressure, the tips will flip out. It's for more uniform curls.
