Can all you ladies with red hair post a pic of your hair and what dye you used. and also, did you bleach your hair? thanks! :)

I did. Bad idea. I had to redye my hair the darkest color I had in my hair. Which was a reddish brown. Then I used loreal hicolor hilight in red. Ion color brilliance brights in red and manic panic plus color filler and riveting reds.

I used loreal hicolortoo!! Except I used magenta. I didn't have to bleach my hair bc its meant for dark hair :)

It looks more pink there because of the sun haha. this is with loreal hicolor but using 2 tubes of magenta and one tube of red:

Red hair to way to hard to maintain:( my hair is recovering from all the damage I did to it, by bleaching it, and kept dying it red before it tured a orangy color. I used Splat hair dye, "Crimson Obession."

So the hicolor is really meant for highlights? how many tubes would have to be used for the underlayer of my hair? my hair is about shoulder length.

And which color is darker, the magenta or red dye? I want something that stands out but isn't that bright, If that makes sense, haha.

Oh and I bleached it the first time I did it but this time I didn't need to, cuz it was already red ;)

I would say 3 tubes :) and magenta is much brighter, I think you should go with red :) this is what all red is on my hair (I've tries lots of combos haha)
