My hair is bright red (manic panic rock n roll red) which is a rich red. Would a dark purple look good with it? I just want to do the bottom layer of my hair.

Yep! I've had my hair red and purple together before, personally I think it looks amazing. I say go for it. The colors are very complimentary.

Thanks girl, I just dyed it! I hope it comes out good this is the first time I've dyed my hair by myself. fingers crossed!
