I finally got my haircut, but I am not happy with it. I wanted You shaped ends, and was told by a previous hairstylist that asking for a face frame would achieve this. I did so, but they came out very blunt :( Is there any way I can fix them myself? Any help is appreciated!

I don't know if you couldf fix it urself if you dnt know how to cut hair its a little risky.
I think you should either go back and get it fixed or curl your hair in soft curls between now and whenever it grows out. I had a bad hair cut once and I would curl my hair in big loose curls using a curing iron or a wand and it looked much better

Always put in ponytails before bed comb hair and horse Shampoo helps(:

Have you got layers? Because that softens the ends

@Lama I know it'd be risky, I just really dislike it, It was worth a try :P I can't get another cut anytime soon, so ill go with curling and ponytails, thanks ladies :)

Oh I hate it when the hair dresser blunt cuts my hair! I'm not sure on a way to fix this yourself but I just let mine grow out and next time you get a hair cut ask for a V cut

Elizabeth C.
@Stacey not really, kinda wishing I'd asked for layers instead though :P

Go back to the salon and have them fix it.

Unfortunately I can't go back and have it fixed for a while, but I will keep all of y'alls advice for when I can so this won't happen again :3

I work in a hair salon and that has not been cut correct ( the way you wanted it) I would leave it to grow for a few weeks and then maybe have it feathered into so the ends become softer but not thinner! This way the cut won't be so blunt, as hair grows it does loose the bluntness slightly anyway xx

Well it seems like ill be trying out a lot of wavy hairstyles :) Thanks Emily I will be sure to ask for that next time!

It would be hard to do yourself because its in the back. But when being cut the stylist should be holding the scissors straight up and down not flat to create the more natural look.

I would ask for a refund too. It's poorly done and looks amature.

Well you should grow it out and then get it cut and you can use olive oil castor oil or coconut oil to get it longer In a week!

Elizabeth C.
@Courtney I agree, but I can't :( @Hannah ill try a coconut oil mask on it :) thanks.

I've tried it mine grew a out 1/2 an inch but I didn't do it the whole week your supposed to put it on and leave it in for 2 hours then sit upside down to stimulate the hair for 4 minutes then wash it out and do this every night for a week.

That honestly looks like it wasn't cut correctly to begin with. But next time ask them to point cut/texturize it.
