So I hear all these people say how wonderful different eyeshadow primers are when it comes to making eyeshadow more pigmented. I've tried urban decay primer potion and the one by too faced but I'm not a fan. Is eyeshadow primer primarily for oilier eyelids? I have dry skin and when I've tried primer in the past, my eyeshadow seems to look caked and cracked. I actually prefer not wearing it. Does anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?

I don't have oily skin and use the elf mineral primer. it mainly make my shadows look better. I never had a problem with creasing. just make sure you don't apply too much and let it dry or it will look cake. :)

I had the same problem with Urban Decay. I use the e.l.f. eyelid primer ($1) and I have worn the same eye makeup for several days in a row, even with showers. (I don't have time to do my makeup every day, and wearing it for more than one day saves product and money...) I use the primer, NYX Jumbo Pencil in "Milk", eye shadows and liner, then e.l.f. Mist & Set spray. Works like a charm!
