It's pretty but when I think homecoming I thing shorter dress not super short but you know. This to me is more of like prom or formal homecoming is more fun party type. (Totally not trying to be rube)

I agree with Kayla. I know you're worried about it being your only formal event, but at my school, not a single person wears a long dress to homecoming. If you're okay with that, then definitely go for it, it looks beautiful!
