So I have heard a lot about doc martens and was thinking of getting them for the winter, but I don't know if they will fit, I have really wide feet and the only shoes that work for me (and the only shoes I wear) are converse, do you think doc martens would be wide enough to fit?

We don't have store yet, they are making one, so I have to order online.

I think they will. They might feel a bit uncomfortable at first but you wear them in.

Doc Martens are pretty wide in my opinion, so they will fit onto your foot. But don't judge them by your pain at first. I had a pretty hard time with it (over a week until I wore them in). ")

I have really low arches, so my feet are pretty wide and I don't have a problem with any docs. You can always buy the men's sizes if you're getting an original style (like plain colored 1460s, 1490s, 1940s). I have quite a few pairs of 1460s, a pair or two of 1490s, and one pair of 1940s (about 13 years old and still in great condition), and I find I have a little more room in the ones I bought in unisex/mens sizes as opposed to those I bought in the same size from the women's section. They look identical, there could honestly be no difference and just be like a placebo effect on me though hahaha. My sister has huge feet, she has very wide and large feet and usually has to wear men's sizes, and even her female doc martens fit her, so you should be fine! They do take a long time to break in, you really need to work with them before they're super comfy, so don't get discouraged. I usually use saddle soap or leather stretching sprays and stuff them with tons of newspaper when I'm not wearing them or walking around in them. Don't expect them to feel comfortable for a whole day walking around when you first get them. I often buy a new pair about a month before I want to wear them for a full day of running around so I have time to break them in. They're fine for school and light errands, but I wouldn't go for a full day of shopping in them right away
