There are plenty videos on YouTube but you contour by applying a darker shade matte bronzer to areas such as the hollows of your cheeks, temples, jawline, under your chin, sides of your nose. You highlight down the bridge of your nose, some do it a little onto the forehead, high points of your cheekbones, cupids bow & chin. Here's a picture.
