I know almost everyone seems to use this and is in love with it, but I don't understand the hype. I find no difference between Rimmel Stay Matte and any other pressed powder. It definitely doesn't keep me matte for up to 5 hours, I think it lasts on me for maybe an hour and I constantly have to reapply it, plus I hate the smell. I personally love my Marcelle Pressed Powder. What are your thoughts?

It depends on your skin type and whether or not it works for you. I havent tried that powder but I personally use and love the maybelline dream matte pressed powder. for me it lasts all day and I don't have to retouch (I prefer using blotting papers if I get oily, rather than applying more powder as it can get cakey.

I thought I loved stay matte but then shoppers was having a sale and I got a marcelle pressed powder for 5$ who could resist that!? And since I've started using marcelle I'm much happier with my make up, I've used the stay matte a few times since and feel cakey!

I hated the translucent stay matte, it gave me a white cast and looked super ashy! It was terrible. I returned it and got one with colour, and it's better. It's not a miracle but it's not terrible. Neutrogena and Maybelline make better ones. :)

I have the translucent one, I find that colour in it is fine but I have very pale skin so it doesn't really make me look ashy. I just don't like the "oil control" it's supposed to give. I agree with you Brittany Marcelle Pressed Powder is amazingggg. Sadly they raised the price to $20 so I'm waiting for it to go on sale.

I find at my local shoppers the marcelle goes on sale very cheap once a month! Keep your eyes out and stash up when it goes on sale I know I'm going to! I'm getting really into the hourglass ambient lighting powders, I tested one and it was love
