I actually really dislike the St. Ives scrub. When I had acne, it scraped my pimples and made them a lot worse and left scars. My favorite face wash of all time is the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. It's gentle and amazing. Benzoyl peroxide really cleared mine up too, but it took a long time. My favorite spot treatment is Epiduo.

I had moderate acne since I was 12 and tried soo many non-prescription acne treatments until I was 20 and none of them worked! 8yrs of acne :( when I finally got a prescription from my family doctor (NOT dermatologist!) for a topical antibiotic, everything cleared up and I've been clear for the past 4yrs :) the active ingredient in many non-prescription acne treatments are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. If these ingredients don't work for you, then you can try tea tree oil (that's the only non-prescription acne treatment that helps, but not completely clears acne for me). Also if you try anything, you should stick with it for about 3 months to really know if it's working.
