Liquid VS pencil eyeliner?

So I've heard many different things about liquid eyeliner, but not a lot about pencil eyeliner. What do you use? Which is better? Which one is easiest for beginners? What brand do you use? Thanks ;)

I use pencil as it is easier to control an doesn't stain as bad if you make a mistake! :)

Liquid! It takes a LOT of practice but once you perfect it, It lasts longer and looks WAY better.

Pen Eyeliner is good!! And you will need the pencil for the water lines and stuff..

Pencil is way better for a beginner, and liquid should before a person who is well advanced into makeup. I pen liquid eyeliner is a compromise of the too. It is for any person in makeup. But it is kind of hard to make thin lines.

I use pencil for the waterline because it is easier a lot easier and liquid on top eye lid because it looks dramatic and pretty!! Overall I think both are important!! :D.
