Ellen: I grew it out by putting my hair in a high bun every day right after a shower and putting John Freda's leave in conditioner! Using no heat products, keeping my ends tucked in, and wearing a satin cap at night.

I also didn't put shampoo in my hair every day, only twice a week, and when I put in my conditioner I clipped it up while I shaved or washed my body or whatever. And I conditioned with Paul Mitchell's thickening conditioner and also mane and tail

I'm glad you got your hair nice and healthy!! I know how it feels to want to keep it healthy but having trouble with how to style it! It looks beautiful at the length you have it at and I'm sure its just going to keep getting better! Congrats on your baby and your new pretty hair! ;)
