I have no idea what is wrong with my skin, I've always had perfect skin but within the last 6 months my skin has gotten really oily and has this horrible redness/rash/acne. someone please help me and tell me how to fix it! also, any foundations that would help cover it would help me out! I can hide the redness, but not the bumps. I'm on the verge of just going to see a dermatologist to figure it out.

I would seek the dermatologist, you might have hormones changing or may have an allergic reaction to something you keep eating, I suggest stop with foundation bb cream or tinted moisturizers and go seek help.

Any changes in your diet? Have you started using any new products on your face?

You don't want it to spread.

No changes in my diet and no changes in my makeup either. I even started using oilfree foundation and it didn't get any better.

You haven't tried any new face washes or creams? maybe you should see a dermatologist.

I feel you! Idk what's up with my face too! I haven't broke out in ages n then this summer all of a sudden wham zits on my face! Not cool I've tried everything but its been stubborn! N not only me but my sister n she has super clear skin! Idk if its the weather or hormones but its very frustrating! Especially when I have to go to work n wear lots of makeup to cover it up! Although honey has been helping a lot lately n applying lemon, n washing my face with palmolive, yes I know dish soap n it seem to be drying zits up! Trying to stay positive!

See a dermatologist asap.I think it might be hormonal change.Get your tests done.I would suggest don't use any make up just a good clenser like Cetaphil and a moisturiser.

It could be an allergy to a new hair product your using. It rubs off onto your pillows and when you put your head down to sleep, BAM it gets you!

It's prolly to do with hormones. See a doctor they may suggest the pill which will help balance it out. Until then I would just stick to your routine with cleansing twice a day and drinking lots of water.

You need to get checked right away, it could be a bacterial infection.have you done anything out of the ordinary lately? like swimming in a pool or lake or something? maybe visited a new state or went to a friends house? get it checked asap.

Whatever you do don't scrub at it. Use a foamy or gel face wash with teatree in. When washing your face use tepid water, lather the cleanser up for a minimum of 20 seconds (this will seem like a lifetime but the foamier it is the less abrasive and harsh it will be on your skin). Pat dry. Then use a gentle gel toner and finish with tea tree moisturiser. I'd also advise to keep make up light, use powder and bronzed rather than thick foundation. Make sure you keep at this without letting up. I had the same problem as you and I had Zero patience. Give it a good month and do that routine before bed religiously!
