Okay, so whenever I get a pimple, if I don't pop it it stays for a really long time and it gets sort of black underneath the skin. As in, where it should get a white head, it gets a dark red and then turns black after a day or two. Does this happen to anyone else? Also, how can I stop this from happening?

I guess that your a black head? Try washing your face 2 a day, I never have pimples from doing that.

Pure tea tree oil, neosporin and honey will all help eat away the bacteria and reduce scarring. :)

Lol thanks, Emmanuelle, but it's not a blackhead. It is a pimple and upon further research, I've found that because it is so deep, I probably popped it underneath the skin on accident, and so there is blood drying underneath my skin... or something like that. Thanks, though!

It's all dead plasma under the surface. When you pop it, a lot of blood and puss will gush out and that's all dead plasma. If you leave it, it will become a really dark scar until you pop it. The longer you wait, the darker the scar. They usually occur as a result of a pimple that's under the surface of the skin. Use sulfur or benzoyl peroxide on it and should bring the dirt up to the surface to become a white head pimple.
